FINALLY BACK

I don't know what to say... but after a busy days that I spent in school and some works done in private (posted some in NHC, BTW)... I'm finally back.

I did okay in my first year in my new school. Grades aren't looking bad. Considering that our school has a hardass grading system (A range starts at 92% while B range starts at 84%... well the rest is history)
World Civ: A
American Lit: B
Geometry: A
Chemistry: C
Religion: A
Spanish 4: A
Computer: A
Phys Ed: A
Health: B

That's 4.2 GPA, woo-hoo

Somethings in my art has changed, and some things haven't. I did manage to work on some body proportions and character designs (and sacrificed my time on writing) but I still, I mean STILL, cannot color my art without getting Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (spelling). I did get motivated of drawing stuffs by seeing the gorgeous Simpsons fanarts of Jake or Jesse (known as WavyGravy in NHC)... guess what I want to be just like them, though my limited education on art may limit myself from it.

I did make promises to some that I will have my own fanart site for my series... but it's not easy thing since I had found the flaws on my arts over and over again. I hope THIS time, I can stick around without any fuss. I'm doing a lot of drawings during my summer vacation while not trying to thwart my work in upcoming University of Maryland College Park summer program and the volunteer job in Johns Hopkins

'Till the next time.

Busy

Ever since I got back into the school, I've been busy enough not to be able to draw anything. I did, however, draw some sketches to keep my hand in shape, but I have yet to finish the dA contest project and some artworks for my series.

First Journal

I never really heard of this until recently from some board members of NoHomers Club. I'm known as 'Master Frylock' over there and it's really awesome board with awesome members... some of them has accounts here so I look forward to encounter them sometimes. I love you guys!

Man, this winter break has flown too quick for my liking. I barely remember how tense I had to be during the school... at least the half of year is gone and I have to endure another half in order for the sweet, sweet summer vacation. I love school and I'm planning to play baseball during spring for the school team...

I don't know how I came to draw the Simpsons, but what I can recall is that I just had an urge to draw either Bart or Lisa from one of the Simpsons Comic collections I have... I got hooked on it and eventually came to this. Special thanks to the episode 'Future-Drama' and very talented artist Mr. Jake Lennington for inspiring me for creating 'The Adolescence' series. I always imagined and questioned myself "How will the Simpsons family (and Springfield) be when Bart and Lisa grow up to my age?"... so I did and 'The Adolescence' series is up to Season 9 as of now!

I actually surprise people by telling them that I hadn't had any art classes in school for last 3 and half years; it's true, I hadn't had any art classes in school ever since I left Connecticut and all I have done was just an imitation... I also had too much free time on my hand too. Anyway, imitation has been the biggest teacher for me.

Anyway, I hope my plan and the works can go as far as we can go, and enjoy, folks!
